Experiencing Sensation
A Mind-Body Workshop
A space to tune in, practice noticing, and explore the world of sensation.
This workshop is an opportunity to step out of the constant mental noise and spend time tuning inβ¦
Together, we will explore sensation by tuning in to how different moments, movements, and activities create different experiences in the body. For a couple of hours, weβll step away from devices and daily demands, turning toward direct experience through guided awareness and experiential practice.
You will practice noticing what is present in your body and mapping those sensations on paper throughout the workshop. I will guide you through this process, and there is no right or wrong way to do it. You are welcome to experience each moment exactly as you do, without expectations for how any activity should feel.
This workshop is simply time set aside to tune in, explore, and notice in a new way, with space for curiosity, connection, and a little lightness along the way.
About Amy
Iβm a somatic psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. My work focuses on nurturing the mind-body connection as part of healing from trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress.
I help people learn to tune into their bodies in ways that feel grounded and accessible, because lasting change often happens when we include the body alongside insight and understanding.
Being able to sense my own body was a meaningful beginning to my healing process, and it continues to shape how I approach this work today.
Who This Mind-Body Workshop May Not Be For
This workshop is meant to be an open and exploratory space, and it may not be the right fit for everyone at every time.
We will be spending time noticing sensation and bringing awareness to the body. For some people, especially those with trauma, this can feel overwhelming, destabilizing, or lead to dissociation. Although I am a therapist, this workshop is not therapy. I wonβt be able to offer individual support in the way I would in a clinical setting.
If that reflects your current experience, individual therapeutic support may be a more supportive place to explore this kind of work right now.

This workshop is educational and experiential and is not a substitute for therapy. It may not be a good fit if tuning into your body currently feels overwhelming, destabilizing, or leads to dissociation. Registration is final and non-refundable.
