Mind-body support for adults navigating trauma, anxiety and burnout

You’ve been holding it together for a long time, but it’s getting harder. Maybe you're overwhelmed, quick to react, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift, even when you understand where they come from. You’re tired of the tension in your body, the emotional weight that doesn't lift, and the cycle of pushing through.

You might have done therapy before. It helped in some ways, but not enough. Now you're looking for support that goes deeper and that includes all of you, not just your mind.

I work with adults in Delray Beach who are ready for this kind of work. In our sessions, we slow down, bring the body and nervous system into the healing process, and listen closely to what’s been held inside so that change can start to happen.

When what you’ve been doing isn’t working anymore

You’ve pushed through for a long time. You’ve stayed busy, held it together, and kept going, even when deeper emotional pain was trying to surface. Maybe you’ve even done therapy before. It helped you understand some things and gave you tools to manage. But it didn’t reach the places where the pain still lives, where the patterns repeat, or where your body still holds what you’ve been through.

Somatic therapy helps you tune into both mind and body so you can respond differently to what stress brings up. This work supports real healing and gives you more room to:

  • Slow down without feeling guilty or restless

  • Feel your emotions without being consumed by them

  • Stop second-guessing yourself and begin trusting what you need

  • Stay connected to yourself and the people you care about, even when life feels heavy

With this kind of support, it becomes possible to feel more steady inside and more aligned with how you actually want to live.

About Me

Hi, I'm Amy.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Therapist offering online therapy in Delray Beach and throughout Florida.

I’m really glad you’re here.

I work with people who are outwardly successful but privately overwhelmed, carrying stress or unresolved trauma while still managing to hold it all together.

Maybe you’ve tried therapy or lifestyle changes, but your body is still holding tension that doesn’t shift by talking alone.

That’s where somatic therapy comes in. This approach supports both mind and body so you’re not just discussing stress or trauma but working with how it lives inside you. Together, we’ll slow down, notice what your nervous system needs, and begin shifting the patterns that keep you stuck.

Many people come to me wanting more than surface-level coping. They want healing that lasts. Less bracing, less second-guessing, and more space to feel steady, present, and connected.

If you’re ready for therapy that includes the whole of you, I’d be honored to support you.

What Is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy is a mind-body approach that helps you notice how stress, trauma, and past experiences are affecting you now. Instead of focusing only on thoughts, we also pay attention to how your body and emotions respond, giving us a clearer picture of what you need to feel supported.

This approach is especially helpful if you:

  • Feel anxious or unsettled, even when things look fine on the outside

  • Find yourself shutting down, overreacting, or bracing under stress

  • Carry physical symptoms like fatigue, tension, or stomach discomfort

  • Want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in daily life

In our work together, Somatic Experiencing (SE) is always the foundation. When it feels right, we may also bring in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) or the Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) for extra support with regulation and healing.

If you’re in Delray Beach or anywhere in Florida, and this speaks to you, I invite you to visit the homepage to learn more.

Bringing Lifestyle and Wellness Into Therapy

As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, I take a whole-person approach to therapy—one that looks at how your lifestyle, daily rhythm, and everyday habits shape your nervous system, emotions, and energy.

The ways you’ve been taking care of yourself might not be working anymore. Together, we’ll look at what your body and mind need now and explore lifestyle shifts that feel supportive, realistic, and aligned with how you want to feel.

In our integrative mental health work together, we can:

  • Look at how your routines and environment might be affecting your ability to feel calm and present

  • Find small, meaningful changes that feel right for your body, mind, and life

  • Tune into what your body’s been communicating, and respond with care and clarity

You don’t have to figure this out alone. This work is collaborative and grounded in what feels accessible to you. The goal is to create more space for ease, capacity, and connection in both your body and your life.
