You’re Ready to Stop Snapping, Shutting Down, or Second-Guessing Yourself
Somatic Therapy and Integrative Mental Health Support in Delray Beach
Online Mind-Body Therapy for Stress & Trauma
You’ve been doing all the “right” things, like staying active, eating well enough, or practicing mindfulness. But even with those efforts, it can still feel like something’s stuck.
Maybe your sleep is off. Your body stays tense. Or your reactions feel bigger than the moment calls for. You might catch yourself avoiding situations, overthinking everything, or trying to talk yourself out of how you feel, yet your body still stays on edge.
I work with adults in Delray Beach who want support that goes beyond talking. In our sessions, we bring both mind and body into the work, helping your nervous system settle and making room for more ease, connection, and resilience.
When Mindfulness Isn’t Enough
Even if you stay active, eat well, or practice mindfulness, it can still feel like something’s missing. You keep doing what you’re “supposed to,” yet the tension, burnout, or emotional weight doesn’t fully lift.
Somatic therapy helps you tune into both mind and body so you can respond differently to what stress brings up. This work supports real healing and gives you more room to:
Slow down without feeling guilty or restless
Feel your emotions without being consumed by them
Stop second-guessing yourself and begin trusting what you need
Stay connected to yourself and the people you care about—even when life feels heavy
With this kind of support, it becomes possible to feel more steady inside and more aligned with how you actually want to live.
Delray Beach Mind-Body Therapist
Hi, I'm Amy.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Therapist offering online therapy in Delray Beach and throughout Florida.
I’m really glad you’re here.
I work with people who are outwardly successful but privately overwhelmed, carrying stress or unresolved trauma while still managing to hold it all together.
Maybe you’ve tried therapy or lifestyle changes, but your body is still holding tension that doesn’t shift by talking alone.
That’s where somatic therapy comes in. This approach supports both mind and body so you’re not just discussing stress or trauma but working with how it lives inside you. Together, we’ll slow down, notice what your nervous system needs, and begin shifting the patterns that keep you stuck.
Many people come to me wanting more than surface-level coping. They want healing that lasts. Less bracing, less second-guessing, and more space to feel steady, present, and connected.
If you’re ready for therapy that includes the whole of you, I’d be honored to support you.

What Is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is a mind-body approach that helps you notice how stress, trauma, and past experiences are affecting you now. Instead of focusing only on thoughts, we also pay attention to how your body and emotions respond, giving us a clearer picture of what you need to feel supported.
This approach is especially helpful if you:
Feel anxious or unsettled, even when things look fine on the outside
Find yourself shutting down, overreacting, or bracing under stress
Carry physical symptoms like fatigue, tension, or stomach discomfort
Want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in daily life
In our work together, Somatic Experiencing (SE) is always the foundation. When it feels right, we may also bring in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) or the Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) for extra support with regulation and healing.
If you’re in Delray Beach or anywhere in Florida, and this speaks to you, I invite you to visit the homepage to learn more.
Bringing Lifestyle and Wellness Into Therapy
As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, I take a whole-person approach to therapy—one that looks at how your lifestyle, daily rhythm, and everyday habits shape your nervous system, emotions, and energy.
The ways you’ve been taking care of yourself might not be working anymore. Together, we’ll look at what your body and mind need now and explore lifestyle shifts that feel supportive, realistic, and aligned with how you want to feel.
In our integrative mental health work together, we can:
Look at how your routines and environment might be affecting your ability to feel calm and present
Find small, meaningful changes that feel right for your body, mind, and life
Tune into what your body’s been communicating, and respond with care and clarity
You don’t have to figure this out alone. This work is collaborative and grounded in what feels accessible to you. The goal is to create more space for ease, capacity, and connection in both your body and your life.
